St Peter’s Church in Stutton was a rewarding project, blending careful craftsmanship with respect for a much loved historic building.

We completed a full re roof using handmade clay plain tiles, chosen to match the church’s traditional character while giving it long lasting protection against the Suffolk weather. Each tile was laid with precision to preserve the building’s distinctive silhouette, and the warm tones of the clay now sit beautifully against the church’s flint and stone.

Alongside the roofing work, we carried out sensitive stonework repairs to the cross, ensuring it remains structurally sound and visually true to its original form. The result is a restored roof and renewed cross that honour the church’s heritage while securing it for future generations.
