All Saints' Church, Rampton
Dating back to 1092, All Saints Church is the only thatched church in Cambridgeshire. This church is rather different to others because of its thatched nave roof, with a slate south aisle and the remaining roof elevations being peg tiles.
When we re-roofed this church we required a temporary roof and did the slate south aisle, using Welsh Ffestiniog slates, and a small area of tiling, using Handmade Cambridgeshire Buff Peg tiles, working alongside FA Valiant & Sons Ltd and Jeff Helme Thatching Services, who thatched the nave.
